Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Danny
I went over to Harlesden today as Ms. N had a few bits that needed doing around the house. It was the first time I’d been in the area since before Coronavirus. Ms. N is almost blind, and had some new lightbulbs that were of quite a specific type to be fitted. Just changing these two bulbs was the work of moments, so whilst I was there I helped her with another issue she had.
There was a proud floorboard nail in the hallway that she’d cut her foot on. I found it straight away but Ms. N didn’t know where her tools were, so didn’t have a hammer to hand today. As a compromise for the meantime, I suggest we cover it with tape, so made a pretty decent patch that smoothed-off the sharp head. Ms. N is expecting someone round soon who’ll be able to dig out her tools, and it should be a v quick job to knock it in flush.
On my way back I spotted that a local family had lost their unicorn – things really have changed there in the last months.
