As the January Challenge heads into its final days, this week's solo challenge was to run or walk Marathon distance.

Nicky Spinks is the perfect name for our team as just like the super woman herself, we don't only have the will and the strength, but we have the endurance to go the distance. This was the week when Team Nicky Spinks started to streak ahead at the top of the January Challenge league table. And it was lovely to have members of our sibling branches taking part in this week's solo challenge.

Everyone took a different approach to the challenge with some gently ambling over the line or others hitting the trails and plodding the pavements. And then there was Pauline who took the challenge very literally and walked a marathon (and then some!) in one sitting, being on the move for over 8.5 hours!

Our man Tim has been undertaking epic walks every evening after work and has just topped the national hereos table. Woooweee!!!

Jo celebrated the arrival of her wings (GoodGym 100 t-shirt) by taking a tour of some of our old haunts and favourite tasks. I so wish we could have run with her. She also used those wings to make a snow angel!

For a team unknown for their fitness prowress, Team Liverpool is absolutely smashing it. Inspired by our team mates, the legendary GoodGym York, we've walked, run and cycled our way to success. And are currently sitting pretty as third overall in terms of invidual branch kilomteres. A.MAZ.ING! I'm so proud of you all.

But... there are still 6 days to go! Sign-up for our epic ending this Sunday and keep moving folks <3

P.S. All welcome to our end of January Challenge party - let us know you're coming here >>*

Fab to have so many other GGers along for the fun! Well done all! Getting out there in these cold dark days is no mean feat.
