The frost was covering the grass in the morning. The sun was already high in the sky. The sun + frost + Widbrook Common = magnificent morning in nature! (You can see I'm mathematician).

We were spoilt for the autumn beauty as we gathered for the next session of weeding in the Widbrook stream.

Due to rain over last 2 weeks, the water level was even higher than 2 weeks ago. We couldn't do wading in the water as the water was too high for waders. Phil was in the water on his own as he had a full drysuit and even he commented: "The water is up to my nipples! And I'm 6'2" tall. Is that too much information?" :-)

We were working from than banks pulling out weeds with rakes. It was a really good workout over 3 hrs session. We stopped for a tea break middway and then stopped at 11am for a moment of silence to commemorate the Armistice Day.

The sun was out all morning and we really enjoyed the fresh air and scenic views!

Job well done! Another two sessions to look forward!
