Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Andy
After a gentle 5km jog from Chiswick to Hounslow East, Andy and Remy arrived at Professor R's new flat, ready to get stuck into their mission. Having downsized from a larger house with more storage, Professor R's removal company had dumped everything they moved into a disorganised heap in the new flat. Our challenge was to tackle the balcony, which was a jumble of boxes, paint pots, plants, and a bird bath which a robin had been checking out when we arrived.
After taking stock of the assortment of items, the three of us began the world's largest game of 3D tetris; Professor R providing advice and guidance, and Andy and Remy stacking, sorting and looking for the perfect item to fit into whatever shaped space they'd just created.
Just over an hour later, we had transformed the view out the window from a messy heap of boxes into well organised display of potted plants - with the less attractive items stacked neatly round the corner in a perfectly interlocked pile. Definitely deserving a new Tetris high score for both Andy and Remy, we left Professor R who was delighted with the progress we had made.
The only unanswered question... what was in that tiny cardboard box that had 'caution 25kg' written on it (and certainly felt like it it as we heaved it across the floor)? Our best guess was the Professor's emergency supply of Kryptonite...
