Report written by Lisa Hamilton
Last night saw us return to St Lesmo, a residential home on the outskirts of the town centre in Edgeley.
We had 7 runners run the 4km distance overall, the distance wasn’t that long so we added in an extended warm up then set off.
We have been to St Lesmo on a few occasions and so it was lovely to be greeted once again by the lovely Andrew, one of the residents. On our arrival we had a little wire brush competition with the legendary rubbish wire brushes! But they did the job with a bit of elbow grease, so well done crew, you can do it when you don’t moan and add a bit of energy :0
After the paint buff it was time to get out the paint and tools, the hand rail was originally blue but we painted it a lovely shiny black, all the surrounding plants were cut back to tidy up and then we all moved on to tidy up the side section of the home garden, and I'm happy to say after 3 visits we have completed all our jobs! Ooo and I didn’t sit on an ants nest this time…..so all positive.
Id like to say a big hello to Scott who joined us last night for the 1st time, HI! Thanks for joining us and working hard.
After we completed the task it was time for a 6 minute circuit blast before heading home, each runner had to choose a exercise and the team had to perform the exercise, you all looked like a great set of planks….
So tonight is the LAUNCH of TRAFFORD, Im very excited about it, I know a few friendly faces are coming along too so see you there.
OOOOooo and in case you didn’t know, next week is OUR FIRST BIRTHDAY!!! And we are celebrating by running, doing good and TACO TUESDAY! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Have a great week folks, Lisa x x
