This was my first mission and I had so much fun! I ran 1.7 miles through the scary Mitcham Common to get to Mrs S in Croydon where Dom met me outside.

We met Mrs S who was very accommodating and really wanted to help us if she could. She was previously an enthusiastic gardener and told us past stories of her and her late husband's gardening days.

Dom mowed the lawn before strimming, I even got a chance to use the strimmer for the first time which was exciting. I was clearing weeds and sorting out the flowers by cutting any unwanted plants and weeds. We also found halfway through that flowers we thought were flowers were actually weeds and began removing them.

An hour and a half later we bagged up about 4 bags of garden waste and said our goodbyes to a very grateful Mrs S and headed our separate ways. I ran 0.7 miles back home and then got on the bus, I was totally shattered!

A lovely, productive morning. I am looking forward to signing up to more missions!
