We met outside Jurys Inn which was the previous group run starting point. This was requested by some members for continuity so it'll be great to see lots more members meeting there in the coming months. We are able to use the toilets near reception and store bags at the hotel - please use the NHS test and trace app to check in to the venue if you are entering the building.

A round of applause for Tracy and Fatima who had both actively travelled to the start location - by bike or on foot! We set off for a steady 5k around Darley Park stopping for photo opportunities and to have a nose at some of the food and drink venues that surround the park and to see some of the kayakers practising capsizing...we paused to check they were training and not in any danger! Great to see some areas of the park that weren't known to the whole group.

After a photo opportunity ewe couldn't miss with one of the colourful rams from the Derby Ram Trail, we had a chat about the upcoming Community Mission and said goodbyes.

Fatima is really looking forward to having the support of a group to help her stay motivated to go running on a Tuesday and tonight she covered more distance than she has on any previous runs as she travelled on foot to meet us and then go home.
