A Batch Made in Heaven
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Birmingham Central Foodbank in Birmingham.

- Led by John Hayes
This evening, 3 goodgymers went along to the usual Monday night sorting shift at Birmingham Central Foodbank to assist the other volunteers.
There was quite a lot of donations to get through so we all quickly got started on weighing and sorting the generous donations. Liam was quickly earmarked to go into the main storeroom to undertake a variety of tasks, including stock rotations and sorting of donations, and he did a great job of this. Meanwhile, Paul and I helped to sort and date the recently donated items.
I managed to get a good photo of Paul in action dating the miscellaneous items, which really does include a wide variety of items - but today had a lot of ketchup, mayonnaise and gravvy granules. I then also got a nice photo of Liam with Leon, the manager of the foodbank, with both the GoodGym and foodbank logos on a display. A great partnership and as they were both holding cookies, I thought it really is a batch made in Heaven.
