What a difference a week makes! This week's return to Baffins was a much drier experience and so a little more enjoyable. Speaking of returns, we had Elly and Holly returning to GoodGym after a bit of a break - good to see you both back again. Our international Tchoukball Team UK athlete, Louisa, returned to Portsmouth after the world champs - we presented her with our GG Olympic medal for the human pyramid as she was the inspiration for it.

This is our last Wednesday night visit to the orchard for this year but the apples will be ready in about a month so I'm sure a few of us will be popping back for a bit of fruit picking. We do also have a community mission here on the day of a bumper amount of community missions to celebrate 10 years of GoodGym - Saturday 21st September. Sign up here to get involved in the Baffins visit. Hilary passed me a lovely letter of thanks and certificate at the end of our efforts, photo included!

As ever, many hands make light work and we liberated lots more trees from their plastic or bindweed shackles! Kat came up with the pun for this week's run report and inadvertently made herself the cover girl too! Angela managed to get a prick in the backside (?) which was almost the run report title.... Judy found some massive ants' nests and then the ants found her legs. Dr Jo found out she's probably allergic to bindweed... Sam took the prize (disclaimer; no actual prize) for the most interesting finds: an elephant and later a sock filled with a mysterious substance - no-one wanted to find out what that was. There are a few photos included today where it's a case of spot the GoodGymer - and the more you look, the more you see!

After lots of tree tending it was time to pack up, dump the weeds in the rotting zone and take part in some agility practice round cones and over the ladder. I'm pretty sure everyone "enjoyed" that little fitness treat!

Next week we're off in the other direction, heading up the road to help Naomi House sort through their donations - a favourite task for many. Hope to see you there.

Have a fantastic bank holiday weekend, enjoy the sunshine and bring back lots of stories for next week :)
