Answering a call to pick up a prescription for Mr L, I realised that I first had to put a wheel back on my bike...having mended a puncture, several times, it seemed, finally, to be staying up...until I went to put on my panniers...a very loud whistling noise told me that there was yet another hole in the inner tube!!! After fighting to get the tyre off, changing the tube, and then fighting to get the tyre back on again, I set off to the chemist.

I was almost there, when I realised that Iā€™d forgotten my face mask...about turn, ride home, pick up the mask, and set off again. This time I managed to get all the way there and picked up the required items without further incident.

Mr L was very grateful to receive his medication, and I was very grateful to have got there in one piece.

Then it was on to the next task...a shopping trip for John...hopefully with no issues šŸ¤žšŸ»
