Find out about GoodGym TaskForce

On a grey but mild morning Arthur and I got started on tidying Mrs J's garden. We had both run to get here and were raring to get started. It turns out we were in for a pleasant surprise in the form of a plethora of tools ready to use for the task at hand.

Wheelbarrow, spade, rake, broom, trowel: these are a few of a Goodgymmers favourite things!

Arthur and I got started right away beginning with the weeds peeking through the cracks in the tiles. This was not the first time Goodgym has helped Mrs J with her garden and there's still more to help with. There were leaves to rake, weeds to pull, areas to sweep and litter to pick: a perfect Goodgym task, especially where both of our previous missions had all been gardening tasks.

We worked away at clearing pesky weeds and finished with clearing the bins area. We had a few more surprises in store for us, namely the wildlife: worms and snails! I had found the biggest and fattest worm I've ever seen, I'm sure you'll agree that's it's a biggun'.

By the end we had filled three large garden waste bags, put tools away, and thanked Mrs J who was equally grateful.

See you at the next good deed!
