A de-light-ful end to an evening!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Saturday, 11th of November 2017
After arriving horrendously late thanks to a Malm bookshelf making us lose our will to live, two intrepid goodgymmers (Dom and Mridula (me) arrived at the lovely Mrs B's house. She had 4 spotlights which she needed changing but couldn't because of issues with her shoulders.
Fortunately I had seen these spotlights before as I had a set in my own house. Mrs B, kindly put out a step ladder and we got to work. I started with pulling out the spotlight, and putting in the new ones, whilst Dom provided emotional and physical support. Apologies for bogarting the lightbulb changing, Dom. It's just the closest I've come to using my electrical engineering degree ever.
In no time at all we were finished. Mrs B thanked us profusely, and we left for our respective evenings, with a warm feelings in our black walnut hearts. Till next time folks!
