It was a chilly night tonight – much cooler than it’s been for the past few days – but – there was no rain and no wind, so all was well with the world! A dry night is always a bonus on a Goodgym night, especially during the Winter months!!

Gill, Karen, Maurice & Nicola met at Motherwell for our pre-task exercise session which tonight was a brisk walk down Moreton Road to the park, down Alton Street and then back down Moreton Road to Motherwell. It was a fairly brisk walk, so definitely got the heart rate up – I was so warm that my hat, scarf and gloves all came off!

Back at the task, we were greeted with enthusiasm as always, by the lovely Kate who gave us our task for the evening. Tonight, we were helping to organise the garages that belong to Motherwell. They used to only have 1 garage and now have 3, so it was our job to re-distribute all the items between the 3 garages. Motherwell do so much wonderful work to support women and girls in our community and they collect numerous different donations, including clothes, toiletries, sanitary towels and period products etc to give out to those who need it. Tonight, we were organising all of those items to make them much more accessible. In particular, Kate wanted one whole garage dedicated to women's products in preparation for her forthcoming project... Period Dignity Cheshire.

We had a very rewarding evening getting everything sorted and we had a good chat while we were doing it (we may have also consumed a few biscuits…..!).

Well done team, you did amazing as always.

Have a wonderful week everyone. Love & big hugs. Nicola xxx
