Carp(e) diem and all that, but it was an eely start for today’s fishy mission for Ms L, which I was the sole person doing, redeeming a Co-Op gift card and using it to buy sardines..

Ms L already had the chub lock open and told me that she’d rung the store and they had the sardines. So I ran off signing along to Catfish and the Bottlemen, looking something of a pollock, but I didn’t care. I needed to get my skates on as I had another mission straight after this one

But when I got to the store the shelf was empty, I was floundering what should I do? But in the storeroom, perched in a safe plaice, were two boxes of tinned sardines.

I swapped sardines for my (blunthead) puffer jacket in my back pack for the walk back to Ms L’s. She was b(r)eeming about my catch; tunaight she’ll be eating sardines.!
