Today was yet another successful visit at Borough Food Cooperative.
Emma and I, alongside a couple more BFC volunteers managed to organise the containers outside, cut up egg cartons so that they can be reused, unload a delivery and stock the shop for everyone coming in tomorrow.
We also did the usual quality check and cleanup of any older products to ensure that everything is nice and fresh!
This task supported
The food cooperative provides members with low cost food to help reduce food bills and tackle food insecurity. It also reuses surplus food to prevent food being thrown away.
