On a pleasant autumn evening six of Goodgym's finest met up in Wanstead to help the local community gardeners and run 7km in the process.

In part two of a project we began in early September, the team were requested to help Marian of Wanstead Community Gardners make holes in a giant planter and reposition it so that painting and planting can begin. With the team flexing their muscles and Peter skillfully making the holes the task was completed in quick time - leaving a longer than usual run around the streets of Wanstead. Great stuff.

With more than 7km on the watch and a job well done it was time for a long stretching session to revitalise tired limbs and stretch out aching muscles.

A huge shout out to Jack who (finally) reached 50 tasks on this run. Congrats Jack! However, we will be sad to see him go as he is leaving London to head back to Cardiff. Good luck for the future and hope to see you at a run somewhere!

Fancy getting involved? We really need your help to make Redbridge a better place to live. You can start next week by joining this run.
