A second, longer shift supporting Slough CVS at the Langley vaccine hub. This shift I was stationed in the recovery zone undertaking a range if jobs such as monitoring patients 15 minute recovery times, cleaning down chairs as they were vacated, escorting patients through the one way system to the exit and locating and cleaning wheelchairs for use by extremely vulnerable patients. An exhausting 5 hour shift as I was on my feet all day however this was more than offset by the appreciation from patients and the fantastic team work from the volunteers.
