Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Alex Murtough (he/him)
I am going to call this mission the 'mission that did what it said on the tin'. Not that there were any tins involved. Because this mission really was as simple as described.
Usually, mission confirmations say things like 'Mrs A's just after a few essential items', or 'Mr B just wants the basics', or my favourite, 'Ms C's after the usual; bread, milk, etc.' Nice, simple, lovely, and easy. Even if I am awaiting something like 'Mr D would like a £400 shop to keep him stocked for 3 months. Hoping that's okay :)'
This mission looked like usual business - 'a few basic essentials like bread and milk' - and I called the lovely Mr N to see what essentials he needed. Pen in hand, I started to jot. 4 pints of milk - noted and jotted... 1 loaf of bread - noted and jotted... And then I thought I'd lost the connection - darned and blast, I'd have to call back. Until Mr N chipped in and said that was it, he had the other stuff he needed and just needed these perishables.
So I trundled over the Heath and down towards Lewisham for a Thursday night shop. A shop that really was nice, simple, and easy.
Nice one.

Fab report Alex, and we know who to ask when that 3 months shop request arrives!
