Find out about GoodGym TaskForce

It’s getting to that time of year when we begin to struggle to find indoor tasks (or any task doe that matter, lol!). Dark nights and colder weather make for challenging evenings. All of that said we never let it stop us from getting stuck in, and tonight was no exception.

Karen, Nigel Maurice and Nicola came together for a good old GoodGym litter pick!! A popular and rewarding task that we always enjoy!!

Before getting started, we set out on our usual pre-task fitness session. The weather had been dreadful all day, but true to GoodGym style, the rain stopped, and we were lucky to have a dry evening. We set off for a very brisk lap of Queens Park - I don’t think we saw another soul on our walk but we did see several squirrels! It was lovely to catch up with Karen, Nigel and Maurice and hear about their weeks and what they’d been up to.

With our fitness session complete, we set to work with our pickers, bags and torches. We walked the circumference of the park, picking up litter as we went. We filled 4 full bin bags – not bad for an hour litter picking in the dark!

Well done folks, another good deed done and the streets around the park are now looking tidy in preparation for Parkrun on Saturday 😉

Have a great week everyone and see you soon.

Lots of love Nicola Xxx
