Vicky, John & Judy took time out from tending their own plots to join other allotment holders to litter-pick the paths around the large Moneyfields site. It felt as though we would never conquer the endless supply of plastic right by the entrance, but we worked our way along, finding plant pots, pieces of metal and a puzzling quantity of clothes pegs! Vicky & John stuck with the task to clear one side of the perimeter fence, while Judy bailed early to move on to another mission!

This is part of our work to manage our churchyard in a more nature -friendly way, to increase biodiversity. The churchyard is often used by local dog walkers and is an oasis of green space in the area.
