Robin, Libby and I met on a grey Sunday afternoon to help out with Mr and Mrs J’s back garden. I think we were all surprised to find 3ft tall mega weeds dominating the yard, but with thyme ticking we got straight to it. We chopped, pulled and dug the deep rooted giants (whilst avoiding the abundance of snails) until we could finally step back to admire the transformation. We left behind a lovely shrub with beautiful flowers, finally visible after removing the gigantic weeds. Mr and Mrs J were delighted with the results and are now looking forward to sitting outside. I think we can say : we snailed it!
