A muffin a day keeps the bindweed away!
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.

Here's what Mr I of BS4 had to say about the mission:
Yes, it was beautiful, we were lucky with the weather and they did a very good job.
Kait, Matt and David set off to our lovely mission host in BS4. We arrived with the normal GG weather forecast of no rain. Somebody must be watching us! Kait and David equipped with two folks started to turn over the soil to remove old netting and the 'worm-like' Bindweed. The plan is that this area of garden can be used to grow vegetables in the spring. I think it will take a few more visits to get to the root of the matter! By the end we were all camouflaged in mud but with inventive teamwork we were able to rid our folks of the cloggy lumps of soil. Matt, a true trooper after his Marathon on Saturday using a smaller fork, cleared the patio of weeds and grass returning it to its former glory. Our lovely host then kindly offered us drinks and muffins that energized us for a final push against the Bindweed and our journey home.
