So this week we had a special Saturday session to encourage new and existing members to join us outside of our usual group run on a Tuesday evening.

Unfortunately I think the cold morning may have put off the newcomers but we were graced with the presence of 6 committed Ealing GoodGymers with our lovely regulars Jenni, Phill, Ronan, Emily and Michael turning up to do some good on their Saturday morning run!

Yay to working in the daylight!

We took the opportunity of daylight to visit one of our regular summer tasks from last year at The Ealing Transition Community Garden. We've missed really missed this task over the winter months as there isn't enough light for us to work safely so we were delighted to be able to bring some manpower down on a Saturday morning!

We were met by Grant and Trevor who look after the garden to show us the ropes, they are always so welcoming and grateful of our help so it's always a delight to go down and do tasks for them. They soon had up filling wheelbarrows to mulch around the trees and hacking away at brambles and fallen trees.

We hope to be back in the garden very soon and can't wait for the light evenings when we can visit regularly again and that next time we'll have lots of new members join us too!

Our regular group runs happen every Tuesday evening but keep your eyes peeled for future Saturday sessions too! You can find all of our upcoming runs here.

Hopefully see you next time!
