Just the 3 amigos tonight!!! We were a little lower in number than usual as Karen & Nigel are sunning themselves in Portugal (how rude!! - and no - we’re not at all jealous!! ;-))

After a quick warm up, Emily, Maurice & Nicola headed off for a run. We did a 2 mile circular route - not an area we’re unfamiliar with as it’s right in the centre of Crewe and near to lots of our familiar tasks. It was a nice chatty run and it was the perfect weather conditions for running - not too warm and not too cold! Dry too - which was a blessing after so much rain over the last couple of days!!

After our run, we headed into town with our pickers and bags. We haven’t done a litter pick in the town centre before - it was ideal as it was well lit, which is really helpful now that the nights are beginning to draw in.

We were pleasantly surprised with how relatively clean the town centre was. We thought we’d collect a lot more rubbish than we did. We all still managed a fair amount but not our biggest Goodgym haul by a long way! I think that's a positive though!!

We walked another mile on our littler pick, so tonight we did 3 miles in total!! A lovely way to exercise while doing good at the same time!!

Well done everyone!! Another productive and lovely evening spent with wonderful people.
