A (rasp)Berry Good Effort!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.
- Saturday, 16th of June 2018
Tom and I arrived to the mission a little bit earlier than planned, so ran a cheeky half mile around some nearby roads to pass the time. We then greeted Mr J at the planned time, and set to work in the garden.
Quite a few plants were in need of being trimmed back so I tackled these while Tom turned over the soil for Mr J's tomato plants before joining in.
Beneath some overgrown honeysuckle a rosemary bush was revealed, and we also found some tasty-looking raspberries growing at the bottom of the garden, which soon became the focus for an arty shot by Tom. We left the garden looking a lot neater and more spacious. Hopefully Mr J enjoys it while growing his tomatoes!
