After another few months of second-hand clothes flying off the shelves, Hammersmith TRAID required our help this evening to pack up their remaining items to make way for new stock. Five goodgymers met at the store just as the final customers were making their last purchases. Arba, Cookie and Beth were joined by Ritsu from Westminster, and Leanne, a new recruit to H&F who joined us for her first ever goodgym mission this evening - welcome! 😊

We all set to work taking clothes off their hangers. At first we created piles on the floor before transferring these into the large cardboard boxes ready for shipping off. As we worked our way through the store, we found a few gems hidden amongst the stock - one pair of pineapple shorts, a blindingly bright yellow crop top and a few prom-esque dresses were particular favourites.

The five of us certainly weren't hanging around this evening, as we had all the clothes packed up in no time. Cookie left a little early so that he could get to Shepherds Bush to begin leading the second TRAID task of the evening, whilst the rest of us collected all the hangers together and got those boxed up too. After just an hour, everything was packed. Time seemed to fly by tonight!

A quick selfie was taken for good measure, and the four of us were on our way. We said farewell to Ritsu and Leanne - thanks again to both of you for joining us! Arba set off on foot for the Shepherd's Bush store, whilst Beth opted to run. Great work tonight everyone!
