With everyone in full Christmas flow - read: cold and flu and Xmas parties - GoodGym Redbridge was down to barebones this week with only four hardy souls braving the night air. This didn't stop them mixing paint for a local charity and running a whopping 10km in the process. Go Team!

With GG Redbridge regulars Peter and Kristian struck down with Man Flu (the worst) it was down to James, Tina, Alice and Tim (welcome back Tim) to take up the reigns and head out to Forest Recycling Project in Leytonstone for some paint mixing fun. BUT not before the team were film warming up outside Wanstead House for a short promo documentary on the work being done in the community by the Community RePaint Network.

With the warm up done the team ran a rather length 6km to the FRP warehouse to mix paint. With Tina and James on one team and Alice and Tim on another, GG Redbridge set about challenging each other to mix the most paint. 45 minutes later, Team Alice and Tim had mixed seven pots, much to the chagrin of James and Tina. Oh well you can't win them all.

With the task done and a few interviews to camera the gang headed back to Wanstead House by a more direct route. Over the last few weeks runs have got longer (and faster) and it's great to see such improvement in everyone's running.

A huge task to end the year and the longest run for the group yet. Great work yet again.

Thank you to all those who have joined GG Redbridge this year. Here's to more running and even more good deeds in 2017.
