Continuing with the B theme from this morning's Group Run, Gwyn and Tracey braved the elements and walked to St Bartholomew's Church to welcome a barrage of visitors to their Christmas Tree Festival. On touring the church, we discovered that it had become home to some mason bees!
Gwyn was given a book of raffle tickets to sell, and Tracey looked after the stall on the back pews, selling baubles, bags of sweets and beautiful chocolate orange holders. Various benefactors had displayed brightly-lit trees, with bountiful decorations on their branches.
Ladies were serving tea and home baking, and once the bulk of the visitors had gone we took a brief break from our jobs, binging on a big mug of mulled wine and a biscuit (or maybe two).
