What a lovely evening to do a satisfying litter pick with a fellow Greenwichite. Not too warm, not too cold and a nice opportunity for an overdue catch up! But before we get into it, a little shout out to Olivia who isn't letting her current crutch stop her from doing the marathon next month. This woman is seriously inspiring and one of the many who make up our GoodGym community of generous hearted people, doing a little good and getting a little fitter :)

Now we get down to it. It started as a tip off. A tip off from Felicity who led the precursor to this litter pick on Sunday (The Great Charlton Spring Clean Park 1).

We wasted no time getting stuck in and filled two bags with relative ease. Lots of plastic wrappings, bottles, some clothes and books. A very satisfying task and a lovely chat later, the alleyways were looking a lot cleaner. We could do with coming back to tackle another section we didn't get to tonight but for now, Mission Spring Clean Complete!

We've got the Woolwich Common run on Sunday and Clothes for Causes next Wednesday.
