Rosie and Sophie met up at Mr C's on a very sunny July evening. Our instructions were to swap around the hospital bed in the bedroom and the sofa in the living room so that Mr C would be able to see the TV from bed and would be more comfortable. The furniture moving reminded us of those games with eight tiles and nine spaces - every time we wanted to move something we had to move another three items into different corners to give us enough space... Mr C also has a beautiful collection of Art Deco and Art Nouveau glass vases which we were very careful of - he said he used to collect them at a car boot sale nearby. We needed Mr C's cooperation to get the sofa past his chair, but luckily he was very patient with us blocking the TV and asking him to pick his feet up as we manoeuvred around him! Despite a few plan revisals and a few close shaves, we managed to relocate the sofa and the bed, and squeeze all the other furniture and boxes back into the space.
