For this month’s social, we descended on the Wapping Tavern, a former warehouse and Pizza Express where Wednesday night is quiz night and there are many game options downstairs, none of which we took up.

The persistent rain hadn’t deterred our ten knights of the round table and even the quiz didn’t disturb the conversation as we took over the big table in the corner and discussed Australia, fitness bands, vegan beer, the World Cup, absent friends, GoodGym romances and the Goo Goo Dolls, among many other things.
