Tonight's group met at Derby Arena for a change of scenery. Thanks to Pete and Ashley for being super welcoming to Mandy and friend Sara who met with goodgym for the first time.

The group went for a walk/jog around Pride Park and Pete and Ashley chatted to the newcomers about volunteers do at goodgym. They found that Mandy and Sara are keen walkers and enjoy exploring the Peak District and also heard about some previous run events they've taken part in along with exchanging parkrun course experiences. Pete recently took on Ambleside parkrun on a very misty but scenic and apparently thankfully flat course.

A bit on the windy side for litter picking so the group stayed on the well-lit paths around Pride Park whilst having a catchup about some upcoming goodgym sessions that volunteers are signed up to.

Great to have Mandy and Sara along and the group hopes to see them again soon :)
