GG BRENT launched into September with a GOOD leaflet drop, badass GYM workout & massive track attack!!
First week of autumn and even though the rain was damp, it couldn't cramp our style as the Brent team were pumped and ready for the bi-monthly leaflet drop and track session!!
No pain, no gain, no excuses to explain, even in the rain and on slippery terrain.
After warm welcomes at house keeping and catch-ups post bank holiday fun, the team were off down to Willesden Track, sprinkling Goodgym cheer along the way. Chatting with locals and good-deeding our way through the team leaflet drop, the 2k run seemed to fly by as we arrived at our host site for the evening.... Willesden Track. Still using the time to promote and share, we managed to recruit an additional member of the team to join us with the next task ahead - The track session
Upon request of the team there was only one thing in mind - ABBBBSSSSS & CORE They shouted We want more..........You asked for it!!
What followed was my pack a punch power circuit of Ab-solutely fabulous team drills: * Leg throws * Scissors * Doubles sit ups * Freeze and core holds * Standing crunches * Oblique side twists
and you'd think they'd be done by now...... think again!!!
Partner paced 200m sprints followed, with active recoveries, then repeat. After a few track rounds (literally) the team were ready for the last and final push - The 400m sprint & 15 burped challenge Which they all accepted like the warriors they are!!! and SMASHED IT
After a quick recovery stretch it was back on the road, weaving and bobbing and hill dropping our way back to base, cooling down on the way.
Home at last and after another quick stretch there was only think left to do..... Give ourselves a massive round of applause.
Cannot wait until next time!!!
