I was a little concerned that I had not managed to contact my Age UK Buddy JJ last week. JJ is a little deaf and forgetful so sometimes the hearing aid is left out. Usually if I don’t get a reply I would run up to JJs for a socially distanced doorstep chat but I was a little unwell so thought it best to stay away altogether. Finally got through today, turns out she’s been on holiday! Little Minx didn’t tell me! Nice to hear she’d been unexpectedly taken for a nice little holiday near the sea by her family. I had some more good news for her that Age UK is hoping to resume personal visits soon for those where both parties have had both their vaccinations which we both have. So looking forward to being able to talk to her face to face rather than shouting down the phone.
