Oh yes, another lovely evening to run with Bexley Goodgym. Its so awesome to have the light, warm evenings back with us again. Tonight we had a beginners run and hoped we'd get some new faces to come along and join us, and YAY!! we did. Welcome Debbie and well done for coming along to your very first Bexley Goodgym.
We had a great team last night with 11 of us ready to run down to Danson and help out at the Water Sports Centre. We organized two distances but like true troopers everyone opted for the slightly longer one. I was well impressed :-) As usual we got stuck into our warm up before pressing the red button on the Garmins and heading out and down Danson Road towards the park.
AS USUAL WE GOT STUCK IN TO OUR WARM UP BEFORE PRESSING THE RED BUTTON ON OUR GARMINS..........
On arrival at the Water Sports centre it was in complete lock down. After checking all entrances and giving some doors a knock, making a couple of phone calls it was clear no one was home. Oh no, i had 11 sad faces to cheer up and what better way to do that than a good "Boot Camp" session by the lake. It was no team workout tonight. Oh no, it was on your own night tonight. With cones laid out it was off to work. Squats and burpees were everywhere, some would say it was cruel, others would say it was awesome. I'll let you decide!!!
After a brilliant fitness session it was time to head back to Crooklog base camp. To goal was as quick as you can back up Danson Road (which has just a small incline i should add) to finish the evening off. Bosh!! Well done peeps you were all awesome. Till next week Tim
