Absolutely Astounding Achievement by our Red Arrows
6 GoodGymers made their way on a training session in Derby.
- Saturday, 11th of April 2020
- Led by Derby runner
Although apart, we celebrated Saturday by “parkrunning” together(ish) across the UK in Goodgym style, keeping our eyes peeled for something beginning with A.
Arrows were definitely popular! Alison spied one in York, Katherine saw one in Derby, and Gwyn saw a couple of Welsh ones.
Lauren found a signpost pointing to two places beginning with A, with an avenue in the background, whilst Tracey’s avenue was wider and shadier. Katherine went narrower, finding an alley on her route.
Peter from Goodgym Redbridge did a double parkrun (amazing!) and found an Alpha Romeo.
A couple of architectural items next; a collection of arches from Gwyn, and an arched window from Helen (it looks about the same vintage as the version of windows I’m running on my computer, which is why the photos are taking ages to upload).
Finally, on a botanical theme, Helen saw an amazing amelanchier tree, Peter spotted an apple tree and Tracey found some pretty aconites.
Well done everyone, and as they say in Derby...
A-up!
