I rang Mrs B prior to our visit and she wasnt up for a visit hadnt had a good day yesterday and wasnt any better today not poorly but a bit down. So we chatted for quite a while when she decided it would be nice to meet me but could I come a bit later. I went at 4.30pm and it was a great success Mrs B is Welsh and proud of it comes from Pontypridd where Tom Jones is from! It turns out we both worked at St Marys Catholic School in Maidenhead under the Headship of the wonderful Jim Campbell many years apart but both with the same opinion of him and the school! Mrs B also informed me she was 100 and had had her birthday in June. What a remarkable woman she is we chatted about lots of different subjects her doing most of the talking. She has difficulty getting about but is very with it. She is going into a nursing home for a couple of weeks but I have promised to visit when she gets home.
