Tracey and I walked on this very cold morning to the wonderful Derbyshire Refugee Solidarity. There's always a warm atmosphere here. Tracey got a job (growing a beard for Santa!) while I had a chat with some of the amazing refugees. The AGM was held, including a slide show of the year's achievements. They were literally in the news three weeks ago and they're our heroes. We'd love you to come to meet them! They love to chat and they're here every Thursday and Saturday morning.
DRS are part of a grassroots movement working to provide aid and support to refugees. Starting in August 2015, in response to the ever increasing refugee crisis
