Luckily a lot of helpers and clients turned up from the SHP project today as it looked like the rubbish and debris from all the other allotments had blown into the corner of the SHP plot including their own greenhouse!

Task owner Lorena quickly switched the planned seed sowing with a couple of clients to the cloche which although more flimsy survived in remarkably good condition. I joined other clients in the general clear up saving the perspex walls of the greenhouse to block the newfound "air conditioning" in the shed roof.

The artistic clients were stenciling birds and bees on to the shed walls and our regular "weeder" was doing a sterling job in the flower beds. Another client took on the repairs to the roof but on only finding a hammer and screws in the tool box decided to "secure" the panels with an old tyre and a lump of wood! Note to self donate spare screwdrivers to SHP.

Cycled home feeling really proud that the GoodGym involvement in this project seems to have got the allotment to a stage where the clients are starting to take interest now and then promply fell off my bike! Just goes to show pride really does come before a fall.
