For a first time shoppee, Mrs M was exceptionally well prepared for my visit - when I arrived there was a blank pad and pencil on her kitchen table, and she invited me to sit down whilst she dictated her list because, as she admitted, her handwriting was so spidery I wouldn't have been able to read it!

It was a pleasant walk from her home to the very familiar Waitrose near Russell Square - I'd not visited these aisles for a good while, so was glad to see nothing much had changed. Mrs M's list was full of healthy items, as well as taking advantage of of fish Friday, and I was soon back with everything she'd asked for, except the chocolate which wasn't on special offer. We then had a good long chat about many things - Mrs M has lived a full life it's fair to say!
