Mrs J needed some help to clear out her office, which was piled high with boxes and bags and papers and 'stuff' that had been moved in from her house to make space after she had a stroke earlier in the year. Two runners set about quickly shifting things outside, spurred on by some gospel music provided by Mrs J. Like Dr Who's tardis, the room seemed to fit more things than the space should allow and the garden paths were soon covered. Unfortunately, damp had got into the room and a lot of boxes were ruined. Unfazed, a new plan was made. Things in durable plastic boxes or packaging were transferred into a different shed, the office space was cleaned to get rid of the worst of the mould and cobwebs, and quite a few bin bags were filled with soggy cardboard and items that Mrs J was happy to do away with. Then, with reinforcements brought in, the rest of the items were wrapped in protective bin bags and put back in the office until Mrs J can get the carpet removed or replaced, whereupon 2 more runners can take over the mantle and finish the job.
