Jenni, Arba and Kate met at Ms W’s to tackle her overgrown garden of the green alkanet - an invasive plant species that had certainly invaded her garden - as well as plently of Tarzan-strength twisted ropey bind weed that had tangled and strangled through anything else trying to grow. “Nettle mind the stings” thought Arba as she waded through the nettles to pull at some stubborn bind weed. Jenni snipped away to give the grass a cut and then moved on to bagging the cuttings. When seven bags were filled she came over to join us with pulling the bind weed only to come out with a dead tree pulled up in each hand! As we were running out of thyme and bags, we moved on to clear the weeds from around the herb garden and between the patio stone tiles before dropping tools to run off in three different directions of West London evening sun!
