Or at least that is how the saying goes, doesn't it? Unfortunately reality doesn't always match up... Word went out for an urgent foodbank delivery - name + adress + pickup code all present - seemed straightforward enough. Waiting in line at the church food bank, the chilly wind and drizzle were easy conversation starters with the people around killing time while the queue shuffled forwards. Things went a little slower tonight, but it kept moving, so package picked up and off on the bike again. However at drop-off it turned out something had gone astray in the urgency ... some calling around didn't result in a solution, so try again in the morning seemed the best thing to do!
