The volunteers at the baby Bank today were faced with a huge pile of bags of donated clothes for sorting.We all set to work trying to find clothes of the correct size for referrals going out, and replenishing other boxes waiting for referrals to come in. As we worked, fresh donations were coming in, so we didn't make much of a dent in the pile, but at least it hadn't got any bigger!

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.

Wow, it looks like that pile is going to swallow that poor volunteer whole! Hope there are lots of decent items in those bags that will soon go to new homes. Well done for your efforts x
