On a drizzly but mild autumn evening, two of Goodgym's most determined runners met to sweep leaves and ran 8km in the progress.

With a rather miserable evening resulting in a few last minute cancellations, Peter and James, met at Wanstead House Community Assocation and helped clear the leaf fall which always threatens to overtake the flower beds which surround this beautiful community centre. Wanstead House is our regular home and in return for use of a room to meet each week, we do some work around the House to keep things looking tidy for the users of the space.

With a huge pile of leaves swept and transfered into the bins, the duo set out on an 8km run around the area - taking things easier than usual due to Peter's Rugby inflicted sore hamstring. With the run done there was just enough time for an easy stretch, working on helping Peter with that niggle and strengthening other muscles that can often work against the hamstrings.

Why not join us next week and help do good in the local community. You can sign up for the run on the right of this report.
