Laura joined Sheila at the Baby Bank to try her hand at clothes-sorting. As ever, there were plenty of bags of donated clothes that needed checking. Anything stained, too worn or not suitable was rejected, but those of sufficient quality were piled up ready to be used. We definitely made a dent in the to-be-sorted pile, but there will be plenty more for us to go at next week!

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
