An a-bulb-dance of clearing
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Hillside Gardens in Lambeth.

Three runners (or rather, one runner and two cyclists) met at Hillside Gardens to help out.
Kaz and Sarah were quickly on the job, clearing a patch. The task was to dig out bulbs from the soil so that we can then plant what we actually want to grow! There were so many of them, and sometimes quite small - so there was some sifting of the soil to get them out.
Tom and I walked to the other side of the park to clear quite a lot of leaves, before returning to the bulb patch.
There's still work to be done, so we'll likely be back for more. No doubt we'll also see a good coverage of leaves again in a short space of time. Our work helps maintain and develop the park and there is already some evidence of Goodgym involvement at Hillside from the past year or two.
