Autumn rains didn't stop Camden runners on their mission to spruce up the Plot Ten adventure playground in Somers Town yesterday evening, although a small problem entering the space nearly did. We tried pushing, pulling and tugging the doors and contemplated climbing anti-climb paint to enter (we didn't!). Eventually, gentle wiggling of the doors paid off and we were in.
"colours and funky designs"
Initial entry challenge over and we set about our decorating task; painting sections of the adventure playground in a range of bright colours and funky designs (at pace). Two teams of four raced against each other to paint their sections the fastest.
"a quick wash"
As light fell we stood back to admire our work. But not for long, after a quick wash down, it was on with our run. We headed out of Somers Town and traveled varying distances between 5 and 7 k up the Regent's Canal, depending on our preferences.
A satisfying and healthy way to spend an autumn evening.
