An Evening in the Dirt Locker
7 GoodGymers made their way 4.0km to help the Penrose Roots to Recovery in Luton.
- Wednesday, 24th of November 2021

Our change to Wednesday nights seems to be paying dividends as we had a boost in numbers this week as seven of us took on the short run to the Penrose Roots to Recovery garden. We also got to welcome Gail on her first GoodGym run, give her a cheer!
We had a big job to tackle in the shape of a large mound of dirt that needed shoveling into wheelbarrows and moving to another area. We made a significant dent in the mound and one more visit should get the job done!
The cleared area will make space for an exciting new classrom structure that will help Penrose Roots with their mental health work and provide a space they can hire out to supplement their income and continue their good work.
