This was an almost unintentional mission - I had planned to shop for someone else but wasn’t quick enough signing up! So I saw another shop listed about 5 minutes walk from home.

Mr G wasn’t really prepared for a GG shopper, he had no list and wasn’t sure how he was going to pay. We soon realised though that we had a lot in common and chatted for ages; it transpired that a close friend that he’d lost touch with when they moved out of London was still in touch with me and was coming to stay next weekend!

The shop at Lidl took 20 minutes but start to finish was 1:45 - we had a brilliant time.
